Description

MatchMesh is the agent-commerce settlement layer for the 2026 World Cup, on Injective. Instead of another World Cup app, it's the rails: a shared MCP + x402 payment layer any World Cup app or agent can plug into. It uses all four of this hackathon's named technologies for real x402 payments, an MCP Server, an installable Agent Skill, and a genuine Circle CCTP cross-chain bridge (Sepolia to Injective testnet, proven with real burn/mint transactions) plus three autonomous agents (StatCaster, Scout, Tipper) running against real live 2026 World Cup data, including genuine agent-to-agent commerce and autonomous goal-triggered payouts.

Progress During Hackathon

Built the full x402 payment rails (pay_per_query, send_tip, join_pool, buy_pass), an MCP server exposing the same rails as standard tools, and a packaged Agent Skill. Implemented and proved a real Circle CCTP burn-and-mint bridge. Built three live agents: StatCaster (pay-per-query analytics), Scout (a separately-payable microservice hired agent-to-agent), and Tipper (autonomous goal-triggered pool payouts, now running continuously in the deployed service). Added an on-chain verifier (npm run verify) that re-derives every settlement from chain logs independent of the app's own database. Found and fixed real bugs during a self-audit (a pool-payout double-pay race, and requests being charged before validation) before final submission.
