Jericho is a messaging-native financial infrastructure built on low-cost, Mantle Network. It provides a WhatsApp-based interface for crypto and fiat transactions, merchant payments, and cross-border settlement, abstracting wallet management, key handling, and on-chain complexity from end users.
Jericho supports real-time payment authorization, automated settlement, and compliance workflows, enabling SMEs to operate a WhatsApp-based point-of-sale system with predictable fees and fast finality. Its architecture is designed for scale, security, and interoperability across crypto and local payment rails, making it suitable for high-volume, low-value transactions common in African markets.

Progress During Hackathon
We decided to build on Mainnet interact with our bot via whatsapp. https://jericho-crypto-bot.onrender.com During hackathon, we accomplished following: • Built a working WhatsApp-based payment flow for sending and receiving crypto. • Designed the AI agent logic for automated payment routing and settlement. • Defined the merchant POS flow using chat, QR, and NFC payments. • Integrated Mantle Network as the settlement layer for fast, low-cost transactions.
