Description

FanPass — AI-Powered Ticket Trust Network

The FIFA World Cup is one of the world's largest sporting events, but it also creates one of the biggest peer-to-peer ticket resale markets. Every tournament, thousands of fans lose money to fake tickets, duplicated QR codes, manipulated screenshots, ticket scalping, and unsafe direct transfers. Existing resale platforms still require buyers to trust sellers, leaving fraud detection until after a purchase has already been made.

FanPass solves this problem by introducing an AI-powered Ticket Trust Network that verifies tickets before they ever reach the marketplace. Rather than building another NFT marketplace or chatbot, FanPass focuses on one mission: making World Cup ticket resale secure, transparent, and trustworthy.

When a seller uploads a ticket, it is analyzed by a 6-Agent AI Trust Engine consisting of OCR, QR Validation, Metadata Validation, Fraud Detection, Ownership Verification, and AI Fair Pricing agents. These agents work together to validate the ticket, detect tampering, identify duplicate submissions, verify ownership, and calculate a transparent Trust Score that buyers can understand before making a purchase. Every verification step is explainable, allowing buyers to see exactly why a ticket received its score instead of relying on a simple "verified" badge.

Only verified tickets are allowed onto the marketplace. Once a ticket successfully passes verification, FanPass mints an on-chain Ownership Certificate representing verified ownership of that ticket. The certificate is then used throughout the marketplace to securely transfer ownership while preventing duplicate listings and unauthorized resale.

The marketplace is backed by smart contracts deployed on Injective EVM, where ticket purchases are protected through an Escrow Marketplace contract. Funds remain locked in escrow until ownership is successfully transferred to the buyer, eliminating common peer-to-peer resale scams. Alongside this, the Ownership Registry maintains an immutable ownership history, while the Attendance Registry records verified stadium attendance for future digital collectibles and fan memories.

FanPass is designed around meaningful integrations with the Injective ecosystem rather than simply deploying contracts on-chain. Injective EVM provides fast and cost-efficient transaction finality for secure ownership transfers. The architecture is designed to support Circle CCTP for seamless cross-border USDC settlement, enabling fans from different countries to purchase tickets without worrying about chain-specific liquidity. Premium verification services are designed around x402, allowing users to pay only when requesting advanced fraud analysis, ownership investigations, or insurance-grade verification reports. The AI verification pipeline is architected using Agent Skills coordinated through MCP Server, allowing specialized agents to securely access QR decoding, metadata validation, blockchain state, image analysis, and fraud detection tools in a modular and scalable manner.

Unlike traditional ticket marketplaces, FanPass does not ask users to trust a seller—it asks them to trust the verification process. Blockchain, AI, and smart contracts remain invisible infrastructure working together to deliver a simple, intuitive experience focused on one goal: giving fans confidence that the ticket they purchase is authentic, unique, and securely owned.

By combining AI-powered verification, transparent Trust Scores, escrow-backed transactions, on-chain ownership, and the latest Injective technologies, FanPass transforms the World Cup ticket resale experience into one that is safer, more transparent, and built for a global audience.

Progress During Hackathon

<h3></h3><p>During the hackathon, we started by identifying one of the biggest challenges surrounding the FIFA World Cup—unsafe peer-to-peer ticket resale and ticket fraud. Instead of building another prediction platform or dashboard, we focused on solving a real-world problem that affects millions of fans.</p><p>We designed and developed <strong>FanPass</strong>, an AI-powered Ticket Trust Network, from the ground up. Throughout the hackathon, we completed the product architecture, user experience, frontend, backend, and blockchain infrastructure.</p><p>Our progress includes:</p><ul><li><p> Designed the complete product architecture and user workflow.</p></li><li><p> Built a responsive Next.js frontend with ticket verification, marketplace, and wallet pages.</p></li><li><p> Developed an Express.js backend with a modular AI Trust Engine.</p></li><li><p> Implemented a multi-agent verification pipeline for OCR, QR validation, fraud detection, metadata validation, ownership verification, and AI fair pricing.</p></li><li><p> Created a transparent Trust Score system to help buyers evaluate every ticket before purchasing.</p></li><li><p> Developed and deployed smart contracts on the Injective EVM Testnet, including the Ownership Registry, Escrow Marketplace, and Attendance Registry.</p></li><li><p> Integrated wallet connectivity using MetaMask and other EVM-compatible wallets.</p></li><li><p> Built a secure marketplace workflow for listing, purchasing, escrow settlement, and ownership transfer.</p></li><li><p> Deployed both the frontend and backend, making the project publicly accessible.</p></li><li><p> Produced a working end-to-end demo showcasing ticket verification, marketplace listing, secure purchase, and ownership transfer.</p></li></ul><p>Additionally, we designed future integrations with the broader Injective ecosystem, including <strong>Agent Skills</strong>, <strong>MCP Server</strong>, <strong>Circle CCTP</strong> for cross-border USDC settlement, and <strong>x402</strong> for premium verification services, ensuring the project can continue evolving beyond the hackathon.</p><p>FanPass is now a fully functional MVP that demonstrates how AI and blockchain can work together to build a safer, more transparent, and more trustworthy World Cup ticket resale experience.</p>

Fundraising Status

<p><strong>Bootstrapped (No External Funding)</strong></p><p>FanPass is currently a self-funded hackathon project built during the Injective Global Cup. At this stage, our focus is on validating the product, gathering user feedback, and refining the AI-powered ticket verification and trust infrastructure. We have not raised any external funding and are currently exploring opportunities for grants, ecosystem support, strategic partnerships, and potential incubation to further develop the platform.</p>
