Bastion is live security coordination infrastructure for Arbitrum and Robinhood Chain escrow-backed bug bounties with onchain-verifiable payouts, so researchers know the money exists before they hunt and projects can prove every payout. USDC held in escrow, reports hashed onchain, a six-stage disclosure lifecycle with 90-day windows, and a Launch Readiness Program that gives pre-mainnet projects a verifiable security history before they ship. New chains launch with zero security infrastructure; Bastion is built to be there from day one. Live at bastion.report.
Bastion is a Web3 security coordination platform focused on encrypted vulnerability disclosure, bounty management, researcher reputation, and escrow-based payout infrastructure for blockchain ecosystems. Built with Arbitrum as the primary settlement layer, Bastion helps projects and security researchers coordinate disclosures, manage bounties, and improve ecosystem security through a unified workflow.
At the start of the buildathon, Bastion was a concept with an initial architecture and product vision focused on improving security coordination between researchers, projects, and blockchain ecosystems. During the buildathon, Bastion was developed into a live production platform. Major progress included the implementation of Researcher Passports, Project Passports, Security Readiness workflows, structured vulnerability reporting, bounty program management, ecosystem intelligence features, and Robinhood Chain Launch Readiness Programs. The platform was deployed publicly at bastion.report and expanded into a multi-ecosystem security coordination platform supporting both Arbitrum and Robinhood Chain workflows. Significant infrastructure was also completed during the buildathon, including deployed and verified Arbitrum smart contracts for escrow-backed bounty workflows and subscription payments, Stripe subscription billing, crypto subscription payments, legal/privacy documentation, a public whitepaper, and production-ready user onboarding flows. By the end of the buildathon, Bastion had evolved from an idea into a fully functional platform that researchers, projects, and ecosystems can actively use to coordinate security activities, manage disclosure workflows, establish reputation, and improve launch readiness.
