About the role

We are looking for a qualified and motivated Community Relations Officer to join our team in the nickel mining industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate with local communities, barangay officials, LGUs, and other stakeholders

  • Conduct fieldwork and community visits

  • Prepare reports, documentation, and community engagement records

  • Manage community development programs and stakeholder consultations

  • Handle grievance procedures

  • Coordinate with local communities in mining areas

About you

  • Bachelor's Degree in Community Development, Social Sciences, Communications, Public Relations, Environmental Studies, or a related field

  • At least 2 years of experience in community relations, stakeholder engagement, or social development, preferably in the mining industry

  • Good communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

  • Knowledge of community development programs, stakeholder consultations, and grievance handling

  • Familiarity with mining-related social and environmental programs and applicable regulations

  • Able to prepare reports, documentation, and community engagement records

  • Willing to conduct fieldwork and community visits

  • Willing to work on-site and coordinate with local communities in mining areas
