IT Engineer (TypeScript / JavaScript)

Job Description:

• Develop and maintain applications using TypeScript and/or JavaScript
• Design and implement systems using relational databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL)
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders remotely
• Support frontend and/or backend development tasks

Required Skills:

• Experience in development using TypeScript and/or JavaScript
• MySQL
• PostgreSQL

Nice to have:

• Experience with WordPress
• Frontend experience (Vue.js, Nuxt.js, HTML, CSS)
• Server-side experience (Node.js)
• Experience designing prompts using AI coding tools
• Experience designing small-scale configurations by considering both front-end and back-end

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field is an advantage
• Mid-level skills are acceptable
• Able to work independently in a remote environment
• Willing to work with a Japan-based company
• Open to possible relocation to Japan after 6–12 months (performance-based)
