Judging Criteria

Judging Criteria for Hack the Flag Hackathon

To ensure a fair and transparent evaluation process, submissions will be judged based on the following criteria:

1. Innovation (25%)

Does the solution introduce a unique or creative approach to the problem?

How original is the concept compared to existing solutions?

2. Functionality (25%)

Does the project work as intended?

Are the key features implemented and operational?

3. Technical Excellence (20%)

How effectively were technologies, tools, or frameworks used?

Is the code or implementation of high quality, efficient, and scalable?

4. User Experience (15%)

Is the project user-friendly and intuitive to interact with?

Does the design enhance usability and engagement?

5. Relevance to Theme (10%)

Does the project align with the hackathon’s theme or challenge statement?

How effectively does it address the problem?

6. Presentation (5%)

Was the idea clearly explained during the presentation or demo?

Did the team effectively communicate the impact and functionality of their solution?

Note:

Each submission will be reviewed by a panel of experienced judges.

Judges will provide feedback and scores based on the above criteria.

The final decision will be made collectively by the judging panel.
